Segar Consulting, has provided high quality information technology consulting for small and medium sized businesses and non-profits in New England since 1983.

My primary goal is to provide appropriate, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for my clients' information system needs. I design, install, and support these solutions.

I have a long track record of solving difficult problems for my clients, where others have failed or provided unsatisfactory solutions. I am equally at home advising top management or working with internal staff to design and implement new systems.

I do not sell products, only my time.

Although I try to remain a generalist, my specialties include custom database management systems, administrative systems for schools and non-profits, Microsoft and Novell network design and implementation, customized accounting systems, and familiarity with both PC & Macintosh platforms.

In addition to my consulting business, I have been organizing and facilitating conferences for over twenty years. Dissatisfied with the standard fixed format conference, I have developed a new kind of conference; a conference where every participant has the opportunity to shape the conference so that it is personally meaningful and valuable.
