I am a cofounder, in 1992, and on the steering committee of edACCESS, a national organization of administrative computer staff at small schools and colleges.

Since 1991, I have been running the Southeastern Vermont Computer Users Group, an informal monthly get together of folks interested in computers and computing issues, at the Marlboro College Technology Center.

I am a founder and chairman of the Marlboro School Association, a nonprofit, established to enrich the education of my town's elementary students by building and providing funds from an endowment for the Marlboro Elementary School, Marlboro, Vermont.

I am a board member of United Way of Windham County.

I am a founder and active member of the Consultant and Trainers' network, a small group of professionals that meet monthly in Brattleboro, Vermont, to provide mutual support and learning about our craft.

I am a member of Jerry Weinberg's SHAPE forum and a regular attendee of the AYE conference.
